Eygalières is surrounded by the beautiful landscape of the Alpilles and extensive fields of olives and vines.
Eygalières is one of the few villages that during the last century has been able to retain its original character. There is a very special atmosphere here. Eygalières enthuses an unhurried charm, a traditional food market, authentic Provençal shops and a town centre with busy bars, water-fountains and plantain trees. Just where the main road rises up towards the medieval part of the village and right opposite the village church, you will find the gates to La Pierre Ronde.
